Buena vista corsica - my "GR20" around Corsica

Time flies by and led me to one of the very fruitful trip around the isle of beauty.

Step by step, it moved me through the mountains before making me a beautiful holiday trip across.

Step 1: Calvi

Beforehand, discovering the very local airport of what is called Bern airport, the airport of the capital of switzerland left in a countryside.

Beforehand and foot, my eyes brushed quickly the horizon to grasp mountains I would soon be on.

Step1 Bis:

Step 2: Here I go

For the first part, quite easy if i dared say going from 100m to 600m.

And then the camera went off because my fingers were busy securing a chain, going over boulders. Before reaching the first stage:

Advert time, why not, my lungs weren't fully blocked because of it and the 4 liters of water drunk daily

Step 3: Second stage, Ortu di piobbu - Carrozu

"Walking" on the edge of top of mountains and going down straight 900 m.

One point: Good challenge, yet totally crasy to do alone and with a 50 liters worth of volumes bag. Not too big one might think, I thought, after going up and down 900 meters on 2 fifteen kms daily path in mountains, so no time to walk calmly, always on the edge... another story for the old man I became.

3 steps and 2 steps back to go to calvi visit a pharmacy and taking the train to ile rousse
: to Bonifatu (21kms), Corte and Vizzanova

Step from Vizzanova to E Cappannelle to windy edgy prati, back to the GR, made me thought a lot about poland.

And from there, back to the original plan away from the GR20 to visit Corsica

And on the way back home with one of the 5 taxis available at Bonifacio

Finally back to a country I'd make mine
