Bad Again, it s an idea stolen this time from England, and US have put themselves in the clown dress of leading capitalism. Hopefully, looking that it won t finish as violent as any other. In a world where debt is creating money, where causal relation needs to be furthered deepened in order to go forward, yes, I am thankful to have had the privilege to follow an MBA. Especially after all the hammering we had as MBA students looking over financial times, economist rankings, that say nothing. An MBA is about what you do with it. You can decide to enjoy a free ride and a gap year, or you can push further the assumptions presented in front of you. The only thing I know is that I want to be here when this world gonna collapse. It will because yes it needs to be balanced better. Yes it is dangerous. In a world which saw dematerialization further, power of words are even stronger. I am hereby thankful for this MBA to have given me all inspiration from such wide topics. It is interesting, we should just keep always in mind which assumptions are taken as granted in the background. If the US were out of mind, out of the map, out of time, what would you miss? No, no easy way, no answer about history and how they saved us and played big brother looked over the family from Japan to Europe Really now what would you miss from the USA? Me nothing Entonces, se acabo : "we are all the same, we are all different" I first started to have this thought thinking eh what the hell, yes we've got our differences, yes we do value them, yes it should be bringing it altogether even better. Differences are what make us think differently. Why an engineer would refer to arts? Because its an open world. More than enabling the spectator to reflect out of the box, for me, personally, art is a proof of some values. Not value the financing side, values for all the consequences Arts guarantees us of: Peace, creativity comes along a relative social peace of mind generally framed within a peace in the surrounding. Don t make war, draw. Yes its not a game Diversity. Arts are appreciated through different perception. One might like some writings, the other some figures, the others the whole Sharing openly your self expression to the world around Of? The best definition simply. start it up all again. As he writes the title, Edward only finds in this basic common paradigm the sum up of his travels. He reflects on his path with another path, another metaphor. One week of discussion, one week where he met people in search of something personnal, one week in pushing the limits further, six days in silence, calm, disconnected from the modern world. A gift. This experience takes place on camino de Santiago, where during 10-11 hours, they were on the road, a road in el bosque, a road on macadam, a telegraph road linking the together, dots linking what has been performed so far. He entered the university as an engineer, a pragmatist. He started to use his goggle, to frame in a different way and understand whats lying around. First, the basics, finance, marketing, human resources, economics, how the organization works, he drew a map in his mind, he got lost in his questions. It appeared so complex, he finally decides to simplify it: A to B. As a theorist, he enjoyed drawing the fundamental nature of the numbers underlying it all. With cost accounting, he stopped on a subject he enjoyed: taking a photography of any given situation at time t, place l, environment y, people p p p p p p p p. No relation of hierarchy, students teachers, he felt he deserved the right like anyone around to speak on the same status, learning from the others, removing these reputation barriers and daring to ask what he has on his mind, the best way to learn and apply the learning. He finally understands more of the rational environment surrounding his reading in newspaper, nothing useful, his emotions get him to perceive the real world. It is his last spell on the university side, on this continuous stepping on the education ladder. All the stuff that is visible, the major part remaining gladly in the hidden part. Investing in himself, timely, economically, a huge investment. Still, as the walk reaches its ends, he is looking to this future rather than the payback time. Chapter 30: But Why Magic Bible of Arts? It might appear strange. I did only get the beginning first Art is a guaranty of. In total simplicity, I googled it: In this university trip, Edward understood that art are especially developed in time of peace. Yes, privilegizing art not only promotes peace of mind, it promotes discovery of oneself and the environment. At a time were digital looks like the only way of quick exchange, we will soon arrive at a time where feedback mechanism will be put in place. Yes, to any new discovery, TV, Radio, Car, everyone is getting first involved in it. Yes, because you have to. Still, in steady state, where does it go? After promoting my doppelganger on internet, I do admit my only pleasure would be to meet directly and face to face these persons, nothing more, nothing less, because more is less, and less is more. Would the world go this way? The western one did. But it has less and less weight. Business is a guaranty of nothing, generally sliding to excess. Why am I relying on arts? Nowadays, channels of communication are getting demultiplied. From Phone, Radio to TV, we are in the era of internet, mobile phones, direct interaction for a sum up. Because direct is a short circuit blowing the fuses, we will not act as rational as before. Our emotions are direct, our passion are now printed black and white on a piece of electronic fallacy. So that is the reason of the title: Art is guaranty of sanity. With it, we will witness the insanity. So here comes a story of the Big Bang that appeared mid-way to this curriculum, at a time where I needed to go outside to understand the inside. An MBA, defining what it is. Coming back to the roots, MBAs were created overseas in a country who hasnt enjoyed radiating its knowledge and knowhow in colonies. Good, at least didn't go as bad.

subject, discussed here and there, I am still surprise we are stopping to the same conclusion indicating us that the world is ruled by money and that it is negative. Still, Edward does agree with the general excess: Cash is king, Tax is queen, green not environmentally friendly and other too mathematical concepts.

 As many philosophers put it forward, Nietzche in Ecce Homo, the human is attracted by his desire, most of us have to be first egoist before thinking of sharing. Why? We need a reward on what we are doing: money reward, feedbacks reward. It is bringing the subject of medium.

 As French, Edward sets up the screenplay. Notes and physical guarantee (Gold, Silver,..) were disconnected at the early nineteenth century when Napoleon faced a deep economical crisis. Since then, money did not stop to be unlink from its once material guarantee. Money took a dominant place in any medium of exchange. Following up ownership of land in the middle-age, of the religious lyrics and other wealth, or seen as wealth by the population at the time, we are now arriving to a conclusion, that is drawn a lot in nowadays newspaper: Money is king, it has all powers, it is everywhere. And? 

 The financial world has now achieved the highest rank in the decision ladder, a ladder where China and India took a lift and are now truly superpowers as US, England or France were once. Looking forward, how can we bring the imbalance balanced? Politics have still a word, if a critical numbers of countries agree about it: Tax financial flow, especially when selling shares on the stockmarket, what we will it create, a quick unease when setting up, and the financial world will still find a way forward or only invest to opportunity providing them an ROI above their conceived WACC, and hence we could as idealist believe in a return of a possible stability there. One point to be made, I am not against shareholders at all, I am for responsible investment. As the idea is raised here and there, set up one exchange rate with possibly one developped currency, and one emerging currency, or as we know a mix of all 30% US 30% BRIC 30% Europe and the last 10% up for negotiations. 

Like any play, the play of money needs rule. More than that, the play needs to be understood by everyone who wants to. Too complex nowadays. Well, yes these are ideas spoken in the past, a discussion into the future and possible a way out of the current mess, restabilising the whole system by its own means with the same techniques. To conclude, Jackson Pollock provided us with a view on where we are lying. Our imagination paves the way, and looking back on it, this painting looks as well like the complex world of finance, with flows everywhere. How can we get people interested in this contemporary world where we first look to be lost?  Chapter 26: Arts, Media and Politics Stepping into the museum, Edward would entitle this artwork as the ideal world viewed by economy, no frontier, no barrier, an invisible hands drawing it around Arts had this feeling before the common experience it. This paintings of Jackson Pollock, all right reserved, is one of many. I found here the common disturbed conglomerate of where we are living nowadays. Linking to this, Edwardss spirit drifted to one world of communication. On one side, Media, On the other, Politics. Internet is a catalyst for such a move, in what we described a fast paced environment Fast-paced, and going everywhere, Medias cover everything from the latest cinema release, to the rereview of political elections and the latest chosen politics move. In such a world, the spectator is drown in disarray, and rather than getting clear information, is driven to a world of questions, essential and not. 

 Information are coming from everywhere, from every field, and transmitted to every one, or almost. Now how to focus and understand the picture lying around. Perceptions vary from one to the other. In the painting above, colors are taking Edward to perceive a forest, in autumn time, colors proficiently dynamising the whole picture. Now from one to the other, perceptions vary, change and discussion are raised and shared, and this painting, to keep the metaphor, give birth to another structure, to another environment. We can understand, or we can just ignore the mess around. Politics evolve in such a picture, attempting to assemble and disassemble key trend and focus one policy. 

The public, having a view of the painting, walks through the understanding of the process, related through media and journalism. Still, at every political decisions, we rightly target the politics. Edward still wonder why when any problem rising around, protectionism, environmental concerns, financial imbalance. Social disarray, Edward wonders why only politics are mainly targeted. As he used to say, his political view is simple: If you know what you were doing, why did you do it? In a play of appearances, the elected ones are the closer to the stage, and the easier to relate. Edward cannot keep up with the pace around. Wkileaks, comments, internet news all around, Information is there. Now journalism has 2 future in front of them: Keep informing people objectively Informing and sharing a critical and constructive view on a subject While information needs to be treated objectively via mainstream media, Edward still thinks some medias, mainly written, should use their extensive network and knowledge to propose a way out of the information lying around. I would take there one to inform Lemonde courier International and others, and for example Marianne to not only criticize but build. This latter has an history of good analysis. Coming back to his home country, Edward would still like to have to face his personnal analysis and way forward, and built from there, where we are going. Why Marianne? Il ne la cherchait pas, on sentendait bien. 2011 jentrais au collège, une année de retard au CP se répercutaient dans un effet domino prédominé 2012 je découvrais la casquette, le basket le premier bécot, la première cigarette 2013 année malheur, année disette, on mangeait des pates, je nallais plus a la cantine, je ny jouais plus avec les aliments, ca avait perdu de son intérêt. 2014 je me mettais au piano et apprenais à bouger mes doigts avec paralysie, époque de mon premier poème, il restera incompris. 2015 ma première fugue, j en avais assez je ne pouvais plus continuer de me retrouver dans ce carcan loin de mes idéaux braves et rêveurs 2016 Neuf mois que je suis revenu, mes parents sont heureux, je nallais pas revenir sans oublier de leur donner le sourire. Je les embrasse prends soin d eux, ne les laisse plus dans la mélasse 2017 mes dix-sept ans je les ai passé dans un tintamarre totalement chaotique et confus.
