ideas about a new essay. Lets try to spell it, wouldn't be a magic university if not exercising new spells. The point of these books: the second one humanizes the state of one country; the second one mechanizes the actors of a business. The common view: getting humanism out of the equation, ignoring all constructivism principles of second half of last century, Latour the first one. Well, different times, different dances. So on his way back home, he decides to start his essay. Be creative, his teacher of modern arts asked. Dare to ask and rethink the assumptions. Introduction: Back home, watching TVs, he saw the news that corporation have now equal liabilities as individuals. So, let's go a step forward and dance more. Lets think one moment that corporation are individuals, being human, being part of a society means to have rights, means to have ethics.

I cannot find the right translation for the term devoirs or deberes in English, so I would expand the meaning: the rights are what the society as a whole ensures and gives to the individuals, and for a business, the ethics would be a code of professional conduct, conduct the business requires have to do to fulfill towards the society. An image? The two-way relationship, a two-way road, I receive, I give. Development: Let's go to the industry. A normal company manufacturing goods, providing services, creating value from its know-how. How could it be more humane? The supply chain can be represented as the spinal column of the business, the brain, at least part of it, on the top, or the bottom, the neurons scattered mercifully and equally over the synapse of the spinal column, from last tier supplier of raw material to final customers.

Every action is creating reactions linked to the brain and a positive signal could be pictured as a deserved profitability or performance enhancement. The ears and eyes are provided by a mix of sense coming from competitions, financial analyst, news headlines, and the motivation towards innovation. The sense of touch? Bottom up or top down, your feet or your hand, at different levels, and trade unions provide a useful sense of touch to the people working for you and adding value to the business. Problems and ideas arising at the bottom are often more complex and leading to more value added than the one coming from the top. Trust the sense of touch. Taste is involving external stakeholders, the one from the market, the reaction from competition, the ratings of your debt, all external factors you can have a taste of. Like wine, we need to educate this taste in order to ensure getting the useful factors from the possibly useless ones. And finally, one very important one, given you know where you are, your eyes are giving you the direction of where to go.

Eyes are making the head turn more than any other sense. eyes are looking to the future, to which road to take, to which seat to sit, and most of all, eyes are enabling the individual not starting to be complacent. As beautiful a piece of art is, the eyes will get bored of that. Edward is falling asleep, and let his mind drifting away. His mind is drifting through one example in particular. This example comes where it would be most difficult to implement this view: the financial sector. In fact, waking up after, Edward could find any light of a possible solution. The rights of a financial establishments: provide loans to the individuals at rate higher than the country's central bank, underwrite M&A, IPO, and ensure the media of money is continuous and ready to be used. the things to give back: Make and ensure a balance of the system within the network of banks, be accountable and face responsibly how to keep the balance, well, balanced and not only in financial terms and assess

Magic Bible Arts – Extrait 20

on quick wins in every project you are carrying out. True enough, that you do not work for failures

Fourth lessons: Tchernobyl and the domino effect. People in a work organization will react irrationnaly under stress.

Thanks, that and challenger puts the previous lessons on hold. Time for misbehavior, Edward comes back home a bottle of vodka on one hand, a bag full of business case on the other. Bonfire? Unfortunately not. One of the thing he reflects now on: Too much change kills the change. However unhappy we are in the present situation, one should still discern the underlying happiness present in every kind of situation. Change does not mean change it all, change at all, it does mean understand and misbehave appropriately in order to differentiate.

What the point in everyone acting common? In his brief career, he was under route 06 then 08, then vision 2012 then scope 2020. Time to focus on months and days and no longer on years. A change program acts only if change is accepted all along the way, a story of quick wins, a novel on long term goals, a communication on nothing that fills the everything. The end is a new beginning As he writes the title, Edward only finds in this basic common paradigm the sum up of his travels.

He reflects on his path with another path, another metaphor. One week of discussion, one week where he met people in search of something intimate, one week in pushing the limits further, six days in silence, calm, disconnected from the modern world. A gift. It took place on camino de Santiago, where during 10-11 hours, he was on the road, a road in el bosque, a road on macadam, on road on a telegraph to link what has been performed so far. He entered the university as an engineer, a pragmatist. He started to use his goggle, to frame better and understand whats lying around.

First, the basics, finance, marketing, human resources, economica, how the organization works, he drew a map in his mind. It appeared so complex, he simplified. A to B, enjoy the travel around. Florentium As a theorist, he enjoyed drawing the fundamental nature of the numbers underlying it all. With cost accounting, he stopped on a subject he enjoyed: taking a photography of any given situation at time t, place l, environment y. In all seriousness, he understands 98% of the rational environment around. Time to discover the 70% of emotional. No relation of hierarchy students teachers, he felt he deserved the right like anyone around to speak on the same status, learning from the others, removing these reputation barriers and daring to ask what he has on his mind, the best way to learn and apply the learning. It is his last speel on the university side, his continous sep on the education ladder. All the stuff that is visible, the major part remaining gladly in the hidden part.

Investing in himself, timely, economically, a huge investment. As the walk reaches its ends, he is sill more looking on the new future than in the payback time Chapter 13: The deaf, the blind and the speechless Edward enters the library, the old building topped by two towers and a cream of cloud. No sign of silence, the minds are getting sharp and speaking loudly. "Interaction" is the spell of the day. He takes right and sneaks into on of the old corridor between shelves. What is he searching? Is he searching? His fingers click like a mice on the cover of the book, staring down to lace up his shoes, he discovers one in a strange old dialect: "Jeunes cadres sans tĂȘtes" - Jean GrĂ©gor.

Brushing up the pages, he takes it for interest under his shoulders. On his way out, he saw a shelve filled up with the same volume, a long time he haven t read it again, he draws out a volume of "The trial" from Kafka. Far from the action packed revolving doors of Michael Crichton library, the two books he got gives him

This will develop to the transition at the end of the presidency and hopefully how he is planning to ensure his main projects are carried over.

Chapter 11: Entracte : Discours Ă  travers cours Elle te regarde, Tu la dĂ©vores des yeux. Rien ny fait. ... Ton regard y retourne, Tes yeux y dĂ©rapent. Tes mains sy raccrochent Ca dĂ©rive, Une branche arrive.

The Will comes forward. Nous - Non pas mon testament, le futur. La petite voix - Quoi ? Tu me parles anglais maintenant ? Toi lĂ -bas, drogue douce, drogue a lair, tu te mĂ©tamorphoses, et tu me donnes envie. En vĂ©ritable transformiste, tu deviens aiguille, tu deviens pastille. On devient fĂ©brile. No because its always on.

Chapter 12: Evangelizing one behaviour Edward enters now the nef of any MBA church: how to behave and master the organization. First lesson: networking. Second lesson: understand the others, and manipulate what you can in order to achieve the business goal you have been set up. Third lessons: bet

the worth of non information. Information are created from a system, it can take a picture. More importantly, information is about assumptions. And here he got the answer from another course, never ASSume wrongly, it makes an ass of you, it makes an ass of me. Well yes within the frame of an MBA, entirely built around assumptions, the key is to know how to sell your bullshit the most effectively. It is where mathematics and topic such as SCM draws their strengths. By knowing the conclusion you want to reach, you can still play around the assumptions and the process of calculations behind to get to it. Ok well, on his way back home, it didnt help Edward. He didnt find his car. Ah yes, he sold it. And still, he loves bottleneck, containing potion of the happy. How words can express anything." it looks very politically correct, what the hell, had to do it once, better be correct. So even before, I was attempting successfully to master the art of Bull****. One year ago, exactly at the same time as today, I did compute an essay to enter university asking me a question I wasn't too interested into first, and where I gave yes at least two days of full thinking through, and so here it is. You may find this interesting, I believe he won't answer this question: If you had the opportunity, what would you ask the president or leader of your country, and why? My question would be: And after, what are you going to do after your presidency? As entering the political area, I would ask an open and simple question that will show naturally his very own personality... his view once achieved, what will he do and what will be the position of France in the international environment. He is a young president who will be retiring at a young age. Will he stop and retire simply from the political scene? Given he has been carrying out various successful and some unsuccessful projects, his view on that will be very interesting for other people when answering a question directly linked for managers and leaders: Once achieving your key objective, what are you doing? As a successful leader, his entire career has been focused on winning the presidential elections. It s setting up the view and handling he has in international relationship, and the situation of France on the very long term. Mayor of Neuilly-Sur-Seine, president of Hauts-de-Seine county, spokesperson of the government, minister of budget, minister of communication, minister of internal affairs, minister of economy and finances under socialist and republican presidency, this lawyer from an Hungarian family finally achieve his objective and became in 2007 president of France. Now, now that he is in the position he was driven to complete all his life, he will be retired at a young age. So what does he see next? He became a leader owning a vision developing his political and personal drive. His whole career and furthermore during his presidency, he has been pro-active on all sectors not leaving any folders unattended. For example: Alignment to US policy, and the OTAN, Reaching balance by reducing health care, agreement with Russia on petrol while crisis in Georgia, Immigration policy, Position within the European Union. His answer will support the view he has on the strength in time of the projects he implemented. Personally, that is a question that I am answering for myself every day. It supports my drive in daily actions and keeps my motivation high in performing in my own chosen way and chose the relevant and balanced actions forward. To conclude, his view of future will link with the view he has on France geopolitical future and how he is seeing France after his presidency being handed over to other movements and other people.

Magic Bible Arts – Extrait 17

many stages, we are limiting the creativity in our destruction in these kinds of models. Let's be fair, economic is only a recent discovery, I won t say philosophy, I would say still at the sectarian stage, but I do hope they will build on what has been carried out as well before in the past 3000 years and not forget simply and unrealistically about it. Our history is what is truly underlying the true basic of our world, not yet some young fancy explanation on the power of trying to merge it all in one subject. I do not understand why this should be consider as the table of the 10 commandments, it s so basic, sometimes wrong, and just explaining again using their model what we already knew. Economical capitalistic models are just a replication of the basics first and second model of thermodynamics, not a totally broad new stuff, a replication without copyright. And yes, I am not an economist. The value I cherished most is optimism. It is mixed to a nice essence of realism which makes it even more smile. Yes as always the short term is going to continue to be quite bad. But what do you think. Results of the financial crisis two years ago, we only transferred the debt from the financial sector to the states... so now the banks are doing what they like to do, losing memories, and yes governments behind are trying to concert and build up on an upscale solution, not easy, but a challenge worth going through. I am optimistic, it s what makes me invest in the future, and yes the future will keep its promise. To finish on the economy, as you saw, unlike Kylie, it wasnt love at first sight. Ive learned, Ive discarded, At least I can understand 82 pages of the economist, the other 20 are ads like it was exposed by this beautiful artistic exposition next to the campus. Truth is never far. You just shouldnt search for it. Chapter 9: Dude, where I put my car? SCM another method of SM. Really. And strangely enough, one of the subjects Edward most enjoyed. Why? For the first time, it was mathematics to the pure essence and delicacy. Nothing to bull shit about, just getting to the point, three points, a basket ball throw: Agility rather than true to the roots optimized inflexible efficiency Adaptability to the conditions around. Pascal said Intelligence was the faculty of adaptation, nothing new so, just reinventing the past to suit the present. Alignment of the players included in the value chain. Is I better to spoil the other to reach maximum efficiency or is it better to lose time in negotiation to ensure everyone reaches an agreement they will comply with? Still, one of the foremost assumption of supply chain is to ensure there is a customer at the other end. No need to work on that before the latter. Yes a good life lesson if you so wish to take lessons in life. Further away, Edwards left his mind drifting. He was drafting ideas around; his professor was advocating collaboration, exchange, two way road of information. An utopic world? Yes, why would you be paid for if all the accountability and responsibilities are shared between the players? Where is the game? It is the most natural way to reach effectiveness. Where does the crazy stand there? How much deadlock the creativity will have to unlock to reach application? Can you trust somebody billing you and sending you information? What would happen in term of crisis? An MBA displays the answer to the latter question. Whatever happens, whatever nice people are around, the first reflex in time of bad conditions would be to leave the boat. And Edward will be still standing behind the left wheel. Yes the sea is cold and quite unknown. A boat will bring you further than any swimming lanes. SCM is bringing the most important topic in a world valuing intangibles more than anything else: the value of information, and more importantly

Magic Bible Arts – Extrait 16

one value of human. one thing right coming from that, yes we are egoist, and will still try to satisfy yourself needs demands and wants before thinking of sharing and all the other. So at least I agree partially with one. 5) Trade can make everyone better off. identify the weakness of the sentence "can" or "can not", "everyone" or some "individual", better off or worst off, the statistics of statement of the sentence doesnt t say anything about it, so yes trade is making some better off. 6) Markets are usually a good way to organize economic activity. If economic activity was ruling it all, and covering every aspect of everyone possible activities. Perhaps, but the scope of economics is slightly limited thinking they can explain it all, hence putting a statement validating their existence. 7) Governments can sometimes improve market outcomes. Ok must be American, and ignore some of the alternatives existing to a fully capitalistic world ruling it all on value, and quantified variables. Quite strange to see this sentence and compare it to statement five. Here it s sometimes while before it was more probability when reading the sentence it will make everybody better off. Yes, governments are there to identify and service the basic needs of the population and ensuring the way forward is enlightened with some guidances and morale ethics. At least, we've seen so far that governments have always been to the rescue of economics when sliding off track. Hence yet, the market has to pay for this safety net, and the beautiful justification of tax. 8) A country's standard of living depends on its ability to produce goods and services. For countries with more than four hundred years of history, a country's standard is depending of a lot of alternatives. Because market is the dominating way we are forced to believe in, one of these alternatives is from the production of goods and services, but I would go a step further and state that a country's standard depends on how the country managing the exchange of different things (not only of goods and services, which are still a useful liaising agent). I would put their culture, values coming from immigration, exportation of working models and emigration, literature, and globally yes a two-way relationship which is too often ignored due to the difference in leverage of power during negotiation between two countries. Quantifying will always put one better off than the other in this deal. 9) Price rises when governments print too much money. Ok causal statement here, why do governments print too much money. Because there will still be an imbalance between one country and the others, and we are trying to cope with this imbalance by adding a quantified value in it. No I strongly disagree with the way this statement is made, if you want to make the government as scapegoat, you are doing it well, but I do not find that objective at all. 10) Society faces as short-run trade-off between inflation and unemployment. Ok it was here a nice marketing move to introduce the Philips curve. It is only coming from basic observation of what s going around. You introduced money as an agent you find useful, yes of course, if everybody working, the growth implied will create inflation, and yes of course a recession will put people out in the street. I will add another one though: 11) People cannot rely on themselves, Trust is part of the trade-off. And if reaching this stage after agreeing to all the previous statements, youve lost trust in the trade-off. The most basic fundamental right is subject to quantification from some pseudo scientists who invented a science for their own purposes and sense of achievements. I do agree on the basic most fundamental underlying basic of this kind of economics: capitalism is based on creative destruction. Still at

Magic Bible Arts – Extrait 15

don't make articles any more than record labels make music, writers make articles and musicians make music. Newspapers and record companies are in the distribution business. Today, journalists and columnists can live without newspapers. Newspapers, however, cannot live without journalists and columnists. Google and Apple (in this case) are on the side of content generators, giving them a way to get distribution and get paid (if they're any good) without middlemen. This discussion got short as looking back on it, they agreed more than they disagreed Cash is king, Content is emperor. As of conclusion, a final quick spell breezed over: With no contents, there are no distribution. Distributing what? With no distribution, one has to search for contents and value it, reason why customer centric business is the future. As we were moving towards a technological society, the distribution system got totally rethought, taking shortcuts that only technology could offer. Now, we are deeply in a technological society. How will we  promote further contents, the kind of critical one that makes us unsettled, and rethink. For most of what Edward understands, writers and philosophers are not writing simply to get rich, they are writing to enrich. E-Interaction is the distribution of the present, and well more than a simple distribution, it is the value of our present. Still, how the mechanism of voicing out concerns away from standards is taking place once only some keys stakeholders have achieved the critical mass to overview it all and reach each of us? Well, embrace the distribution, you still own your contents. Music: Fatboy Slim Right here, right now HYPERLINK "file:///C:\\Users\\Dobson\\Desktop\\IS%20it%20best%20to%20go%20for%20content%20or%20distribution.doc" \l "_ftnref1" \o "" [1] Source:  HYPERLINK "http://www.20minutes.fr/article/631255/media-apple-google-defies-partie-presse-francaise" http://www.20minutes.fr/article/631255/media-apple-google-defies-partie-presse-francaise Chapter 8: Entering the black bible of Mankiw's ten principles of economics Ouf I did not attend the same university as Mankiw I believe the corporate belief would have make me lying even more to myself. I would have feared for the critical thinking aspect I've been told we've got to improve. Well, I've got my values, and no I am not looking to change them, it s what makes me rational, efficient, and go forward taking the most of every single mistake. With no background money-wise and market-wise, only common-sense realism, I will have a ten-minutes go here to explain why the economics field is still trying to assert they are useful and that in that case cannot go further, as most of us can disagree and see alternatives to a market wise rule of thumb over the world. 1) People face trade-offs. It s the basic of existentialism. Making a choice, right or wrong, it s part of human freedom and depending of the knowledge and acceptance of the uncertainty involved in the subject, it could get everybody better off, everybody worst off, or as we see in a market ruled world, some better and a lot worst off 2) The cost of something is what you give up to get it. No, the cost of something is an exchange you are involved in. Your work is adding value to one product of your own, and you are getting that in the balance to get some other goods. 3) Rational people think at the margin. Rational people are only a bit of the global population, and fortunately we are more irrational because emotional, and that s what makes us human, hence economics stealing from the field of humanism here 4) People respond to incentives. If they care. As said in the video it s a tautologies, I am motivated by my own motivations, if I am not motivated would be extra difficult to get an external factor to motivate me. Its centering on
