Pride & Prejudice

In fact, I am writing more on the pride than the prejudices. First because, I have not read the book
of Jane Austen, and I do allow myself this liberty. Secondly, because, simply because. and well, third, 'cause I love the english term. Well, it seems to be translated as "orgueil" in French with
all the negative perceptions I do sense there. pride is fierté, orgueil is part of self-esteem pushing yourself to aim further. so simply the positive perspective for me because.

Back to face A, Robbie might have love running through his veins, I’ve got that and as well some mix
from my family, one definitely in line with my character: Pride is running through me, with the oxigen there like many others, just enjoying so much having this slack of personality that allows a
rebound whatever happens.

This modern thought of Jane Austen book came as I got totally f***** in the past 3 weeks, by things
aside I am not daring to speak here, and by challenges I am putting to myself.

It started a long time ago. Needed to run as to clear my mind, then found alcohol as a cooler of my
brain engine, ok sarcasm apart, run 5k, 10k, 20k, for one thing, pride, there is always somebody in front to overtake. Yes I am not that good, and others motivate me to get better.

Then a month ago, I went to the pool. I am not a natural swimmer, started with a kilometer, then 3,
and my goal is 5 by next week, ok, 5 in 2 hours. Basic, I ve got challenges I can afford and from what I can draw, look good.

This week, swimming is off, given I do enjoy the beautiful weather the summer happily spoils us with.
So building some outside stairs. Well the old way, no pillars, just a big triangular gap, of almost 8 cubic meters, and now filling it with cement, pride comes when my muscles cannot bear the
second cubic meter. and here it goes, always on track with objectives. time to move to face B.

I might be old fashioned, old roots, it s where I am tasting the best whisky. :)
