Lets come back to the strikes, just post my blog note on it yesterday and I have learned today that anyway the law has finally and successfully passed.  Here Ive learned two different ways of educating philosophy. The Western Europe one through introduction development conclusion and the US ones through context, facts, facts, facts (or what it is assimilated to be facts) and explanation. Its not new that English language is more direct than its European counterparts: French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Italian. I believe ours are more emotional, still rational, but my personal feeling on it, take a book from Carlos Luis Zafon in Spanish, one from Paul Auster in English, 

Why them? 2 of my favorites authors. Still, I believe you will see the difference of the mood the readers is put in. I do agree part is due to the style of writing; still some is due to the language used. I keep repeating it, in English, with plenty of words only of one syllabus, hard to compete with multi-syllabus languages. It is kind of impacting the whole experience I believe, it is kind of helping making English the norm, as easier and more direct.

 Fact? TV shows through the frame of the TV. Should you had a shitt* day, with rainy weather, and with problems on public transportation making you late. Even if this latter wasnt due to strikes, when looking to the information, which is nicely simplifying the frame for you, chances are that you will link one to the other, while it appears objectively there might have been no interrelation. Call me a philosopher; I prefer to consider myself as a pragmatist looking through the prism of everydays life. It helps understand, it helps being objective. So now, the big unknowns, searching a job, what is the frame of the human resources person looking to her/his emails? Values: work values giving the belief we need to be efficient. Hence good chance, you will be the 100th applicants to the jobs, and the screening will be quick. List your arguments; it can depend of so many things we cannot control.

 Example: HR in Paris or any other big cities, 20% of chance your application will be first reviewed by a filter person or an intern, who came to work by metro and started its day at 8. Either you are read at 8.30 or at 10.30 after a coffee break and chitchat with others, or at the end of the day. Would you dare to be original given the high risk that the person might not be receptive to fancy description during 75% of the day? Would you write a novel? Speak about your childhood? Or get it over bullet points? 

 As a writer, I still aim to offer a break possibly to the reader of my covering letter, if going that far. Yes I am searching a job, and yes as a writer, I still want the nicely disposed and written paragraph, a flow that leads you to the conclusion: not a torrent, not an ocean, not a small river, they are not salmons; they need a break, if I dare use the image. Given that most of the times, we will not be aware of what is happening in the environment and the context of the others, reading news, and keeping update of the frame, demographic and geographic, is of first help. I still do believe one would advertise and communicate better through the numerous channels of communication we know have by being true to him/her. You have your values, your beliefs. Communication is about interaction, and misunderstandings are so easy to be created, that it’s easier to kiss it (Kiss: keep it simple and stupid).

 At this stage, Edward got enough, and started to write his own memories.  Now he decide to invent the sun, she came as morning burp, one of many thats going to come, the process is ongoing, exiting sun, and giving birth o light in the same time he can now uncover his own infant, he can hear the nice sound going around, noise being created by what he created before gravity. He is at the origin of every single product down there, thinking at the speed of light and even more. All is now stating a dance of aggregating disaggregating, moon getting compounded, asteroids running around with these trace of origins, water, ice, vapor, electrons, electromagnetic waves, every single one of its child now surfs on these cosmetically structure breaking apart. Soon enough, he will see he first Earth being created, soon enough, she is not impatient. 

 He is clinging eyes, asteroids going back to the origin getting this potential speed to go even further. His project is now taking birth under his own multiple eyes. Everything, he can feel this craziness filling him of all these weird sensations of unknown, reacting to uncertainty measuring the risk, inputting more input, destroying the incomplete, replacing the complete, a delicate solar wind is now caressing her cheek. Yes, for the first time, he believes it was worth the risk. All these disbelief in front of him and now all that created, and more to come. Why to stop on this way, he keeps on going, she keeps dancing, he invents nature, she invents ocean and sea, he is clinging the eyes of the moon, she is creating Earth from a collision between the moon and anther asteroids. Too much details, she cannot pay attention to everything going around, he is focusing on the upper scale, trying to grab the broad view necessary in such a case. 

He still cannot understand anything apart that everything down there has a meaning and everything is coming from her. She is on the verge of succeeding a one life shot, no strategy apart than reacting on the go, no plan down, he couldnt make any sense of the unknowns turning around Chapter 25: Opening a window, we dont necessarily need a clench Edward put all his experience on the balance and threw it at the window. It appears people are not listening to objective facts, but through the frames the facts are put through. It is rather a constructivist

Given the location I am in, but the first point you get in a business school is to follow the peers pressure and behave in all political correctness. Edward includes himself in the examples; still he had the great luck to travel a fair amount. Coming back to the point: Where is diversity? Here? Ethically, we defend the notion but we will always put our personal interest first, we are common following the same frame of courses, or almost identical. Language-wise, English is not the preferred language, it is the language of business. Ok I might go too far there and could have applied to the native cursus. Still, and even there, counting on fingers people interested and motivated in going to some of the native module Edward is following, Financially, how many of us get the backup for 50% up to total coverage of tuition fees? How many of us get the backup for living expenses? 

An MBA is a world of privileges, a world of rights that others dont enjoy. At 50K¬ the entry fee, diversity is widely restrained. This is raising another point, about diversity in business sphere. Given we are coming from a wealthy background, with some family related network and so on, it might appear easy to see that a transition of business to ethical business won t take place any time soon. Succession planning? Which succession planning? Most companies are opportunistic and will recruit the most opportunist and wealthy, in term of qualitative and quantitative, person. Education-wise, first school I am where participation weighs as much as any assessments on what you understood. Yes with that kind of structure, ten years ago, I would be entering Oxford hands up and would not have felt the necessity to carry out an MBA. Networking-wise, follow the path traced, I am blessed with the gift of empathy. I know they will be the first persons to leave the boat if something happens. Why trusting these guys? Because they are the future. 

Well I will continue play the game Yes, An MBA is even more disputable, coming straight from our Americans cousins; it still has some issues to get rid of this inheritance. Given all the bashing France is getting, I would get harmed if I wasn´t living there: France is a country of

According to it, men were divided into two types of shares: - promising, but not profitable right now. Not promising ones should be kept for strategic purposes. Their share in the portfolio could be increased with the time. Also, their status could be updated to the "husband" level (I don't have a market name for this phenomenon)... I guess, we'd have to call it "exclusivity" in the portfolio... but then how about having a lover? Not promising but currently profitable shares should be keep to make life pleasant and to feel like a woman, who's being adored: I like Emilie :) Nice name! Hey, I AM for mergers and acquisitions - they do create synergies! My vision of love is not "vici" (win). I need a passive voice here: "Was won" :) When it comes to love, it's better to be the victim of it :))) Edwards starts to enjoy this play: love the synergies, but acquisitions, too much will destroy the essence of the whole enterprise. have to focus on the core assets of each branch and minimize the liabilities in the process. 

A deep and touchy sensitivity analysis on all parameters should help though. And the pace of the discussion is getting faster and faster: OMG! We have to discuss pros and cons of acquisitions!!! That sounds like another chapter of your book ;-) BTW, maybe you know it, I want to specialize on the cultural aspect of M&A's... We should discuss synergies of such a move! :) I like the battle field of two people questioning... Makes you feel alive. But sometimes quiet routine time, when you know the answer, is also good and pleasant :) Edward keeps searching support Yeah, well given the lights from todays course, it might be interesting to support some VC funds in this acquisition funds, develop to the international at funding stage three, obviously protecting the investment with an investment contract registered to the world bank and the ICSID. 

 For the customized field of investment, these two markets have more in common than it might first appear. Concerning acquisitions, I believe it s got to be fair and bilateral investment, one company merging with a another country. Deal? So, like any of my opinion, not very clear, but I can remember a book and a video montage of what are the difference between Humans and wildlife? Humans are the only one who needs reasons to make love. And here starts complexity, both meaning difficulty and complex side. Considering Maslow pyramid, the sexual act is part of a normal human balance. Still, they are here when anybody needs them for a lay down, so they kind of make supply meet demand as you said in an earlier message and there are no strings attached. The return to simplicity might not necessarily have brought bad things, it s just the consequences in everyday life and all the fuss around, which might get strange. After I don t believe in causal relation explaining that a guy got dumped and that it would explain his behavior. I might be wrong, you might be very empathic but I do believe it s part of the unknown we cannot explain and part of the inherited education we are getting during our youths. After yes some of us are reacting this way, because of what you say. And to be fair, too much honest, you are getting stuffed the bad way this time. So wouldn't the balance be in a certain level of corruption, lying by omission and so on to enjoy some free air... You know what? There are market imperfections in supply and demand between men and women in the world. Take for example France. 17% oversupply. What does it lead to? To the inflation of the beauty of women... and degrading of our men. And also... guys always want one thing (let's call it "demand") and the main idea for a woman to be successful with that particular guy is not to satisfy his demand... Hm... Sounds like Monopolistic power to me. Otherwise we have perfect competition and the customer will turn to the next cheaper company with the same product 

 He knew at that stage economy and all other courses would be easier to understand this way. Answer from Edward: Yes sorry about that, but I've got to answer. So if I understand in brackets, "stagflation" is your explanation for the decay of men and the ever demanding and increasing overpriced quality criteria for women? I will still input and avoid generalities in this course syllabus and put the differentiation factor forward, yes because low cost would not be a strategy as you say and customer service is what it is on both sides, very subjective and it better be. After we "learned" it in BGS market imperfections are smoothed out through the wonders of the health insurance, or is it? Ok, I am stopping there, and I will send you a copy of my second book, I am now realizing this topic will only worth a note, don t want to put my business goggle on that. Do you think government regulation is needed for market imperfections like that? I personally think that men should bear financial responsibility for every child that is born from them (DNA tests can prove it). I do agree. Differentiation is the answer for such tough markets as women. This is how I got my fiancé. Exceptional customer service is a must if you want to retain the guy! Answer from Edward: Ok I did write a long boring answer, but it went down to the flush. The only thing I do remember is that I do agree, the customer service for a man might be different. It might be applicable to both, but I believe you have to keep one or even the two to some extent in the couple unsatisfied on some aspects to keep him/her around. 

Who would be interested in a 100% six sigma quality top notch person? Retention there is in slowly continuous improvement isn't it? Or I might be totally wrong, and never enjoyed so much to be, I am keeping on strengthening my weaknesses to give her some faith about the good cause she will be advocating. :)
